Players and coaches are required to follow the rules and regulations of USA Hockey.
Practices
- Banshee practices are open to all registered Banshees members.
- Payment in full is due before skating on the ice.
- Confirmation of USA Hockey membership is due before skating on the ice.
- Dues and ice fees are non-refundable (similar to a season’s pass). Even if you do not take the ice due to injury, schedule change, moving, etc., you will not be refunded.
- Posted practice and scrimmage times are subject to change.
Equipment
- In compliance with USA Hockey rules, a hockey helmet with helmet strap properly fastened is required for all players and coaches.
- It is strongly recommended by USA Hockey that all players and goalkeepers properly wear an internal mouthpiece, a HECC approved helmet and a HECC approved full facemask for all games and practices.
Tournaments
- Participation in tournaments is optional.
- Tournament entry fees will be divided by 10.
- Tournament rosters are filled on a first-to-pay/ first-to-play basis (except where skill level is restricted by the tournament host.) If more than 12 players sign up, priority will be given, on a first to pay basis, to players who have attended two practices in the 30 days before the sign up deadline.
- You must be a Banshees member in good standing for your tournament check to be accepted.
- Tournament fees are nonrefundable unless 10 roster spots are filled.
- Players will be placed on teams according to the Banshees coaches’ discretion.
